VidiVet

I am the sole designer on VidiVet and have been involved in everything design from concept through to post product launch.

I was keen to work with the founder, a Vet, on his idea as it was a meaningful project that would make a difference to owners and their pets.

The Idea: To make Vet advice affordable and accessible to all, anywhere.

Take a look below to see how the idea grew…

Brand

First I ran a brand workshop with the Founder and Project Manager gathering ideas and information that could be used to create the brand; its identity, values, personality, and tone of voice.

Gathering feedback on the work, I followed an iterative design process until we were confident that our brand appealed to the target market and communicated the right message.

The work was the start of a brand guidelines document, which would grow and update as the journey continued.

Website

Customer feedback was essential to validating the idea was one people needed, so we created a marketing website to test the VidiVet concept with our target Market.

Initially, this was a one-pager with info and a form where people could sign up if they were interested. Over time it grew into two multi-page responsive websites with dedicated partner pages.

App

  • Customer App

The VidiVet idea was validated by positive sign up figures and work began on a mobile app. Pet owners could send questions about their pet to a vet and receive a personalised video reply in minutes.

A lean methodology was followed, functionality was worked on and released in stages, so we could work quickly and iteratively.

  • Vet App

As the VidiVet service became more successful, more Vets were hired and focus was given to creating an App that would let the Vets work together efficiently remotely.

The App allowed Vets to view customer questions, respond to, and follow up with pet owners which ultimately would also add to the customer experience.

Marketing

  • Print

I supported the marketing of VidiVet by creating varous print material including flyers, posters, and selfie walls to name a few.

  • Exhibition

VidiVet exhibited at multiple events, I supported by designing exhibition stands and branded merchendise.

  • Social media

I assisted with the creation of on brand assets to help communicate and promote VidiVet to an online audience.
